Internationally renowned Swiss/Argentinian product designer Alfredo Häberli (b.1964) is based in Zurich, Switzerland and innovates tradition and energy into his designs. The strong expressions and emotions found in his work were influenced by his daily explorations as a youth in Argentina.
Häberli often works with leading design companies including Alias, BMW, Luceplan and Schiffini. His work is widely appreciated and awarded throughout Europe by such prestigious organizations as the Swiss Federal Office of Culture who bestowed upon him the Swiss “Grand Prix” of design in 2014.
More recently, Alfredo has designed home products for Iittala with his lead free, mouth blown crystal award-winning Essence series - and Origo and Senta series.
